I am qualified and experienced in the provision of both leadership and organisational coaching services.

leadership coaching

Leadership coaching is an individual process that builds a leader’s capability to achieve short and long term goals.

My core objective throughout this process is to support the participant in developing clear, strategic, and creative thinking. This allows them to identify barriers preventing them from achieving their highest level of performance, and together we establish techniques to overcome them.

Leadership coaching enables leaders to achieve clarity of purpose. This allows them to learn from past and current experiences, and then modify behaviours to achieve lasting changes.

organisational coaching

Organisational coaching is a collaborative learning relationship that aims to improve the quality of a person’s life at work, and thereby contribute to organisational effectiveness. It is distinguished by a three-way relationship between the coach, the participant, and the organisation.

Throughout this process, the organisation is actually my client, making the dynamic between myself, the participant and client more complex than the one-to-one relationship I establish in leadership coaching. While my responsibilities are primarily to the client, I meet them through focusing on the development of each individual participant.

What distinguishes organisational coaching from other types is the understanding of how to manage the dynamics of this three-way relationship. I am able to work successfully within these dynamics because of my professional background, extensive organisational experience, and specific organisational coaching training.
